Our skilled clinicians will assess your individual medical needs, determining a personalized treatment for you venous disorder. Once Medical Necessity is determined, your respective insurer will be contacted by our staff to initiate authorization for your treatment. Our staff, dedicated to this process, are capable of receiving authorization for procedures once medical necessity is determined in nearly all cases.
What is the cost of my Cosmetic Consult?
Absolutely 100% free. If you have any desires for cosmetic procedures or want more information, please schedule a consultation on our website or by calling one of our centers listed below. Our consultations allow a patient to meet with a Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon and a knowledgeable Cosmetic Consultant. During this consultation, a patient has the opportunity to see our facility and staff, learn more about cosmetic surgery offerings and procedures, and allows the physician to assess your needs and desires so as to convey the most realistic and desirable result possible.
Will insurance cover my procedure?
Our vein procedures are covered by nearly every medical insurer. Insurance typically covers ultrasound scans, EVLA procedures, ultrasound guided sclerotherapy, and all post surgery care, treatments, and follow-ups. Our dedicated staff will handle the process of obtaining authorization for your procedures and are dedicated to seeing you receive coverage for your treatments.
Do I need a referral to be seen at Americas Vein Centers?
Depending on your particular coverage with your insurer, you may need a referral. Generally patients with PPO plans do not need a referral and all other patients require one. However, most primary care physicians recognize the advantage of their patients seeing a vein specialist and gladly provide a referral. If you encounter any problems in obtaining a referral, please give our office a call or fill out the comments field below. Our staff will be glad to contact your physician for a referral.
